Failure - The preparation of success.

You've failed again! You are just good for nothing! Look at you! Leave it, I don't expect anything from you!

I am sure somewhere in our lifetime, we've heard the above-mentioned comments. I have heard a lot since my childhood. People become so cunning at times

that they don't even realize that what are they talking about and what is going to be the impact on the person. They simply puke out everything that comes to their mind.

But I would urge all my fellow readers don't bother themselves too much with these statements. Let's create a new beginning from these negative comments.

Ready for it? Here we go.

Let me share one of my childhood incidence here. I was in 8th standard and one of my subjects was English. I was intelligent though but was not very good with spoken English as I tend to speak incorrect English as I didn't know grammar. There is a famous saying, "Charity begins at home". So, my father took the responsibility to teach me English grammar. He is undoubtedly has a very good command of English. Being very strict and discipline was a scary situation for me.

Anyway, my classes started and I used to get bashed by my father because I always used to get frightened and as a result, I used to make errors. Every second day I used to receive such flowery statements. I was very upset and gave up as I was a failure. I am not criticizing my father here but this is very common nowadays. Most of the parents will compare their kids with other kids and will keep on pressurizing them. They don't even realize that what would be the outcome and trust me the result sometimes is so scary that I can't even discuss it here.

Coming back to my story, this incident kept going. Time moved. But I didn't give up. I kept on learning it in my way. My mother kept me motivated. I moved to college for higher studies. Now while I was doing my MBA, we used to do presentations and many other activities where we used to do a lot of talk shows, debates, etc. I kept getting feedback from my lecturers to correct myself and I worked on it. I was just focused on my input and was not expecting the output. Further, time moved on. I was introduced to the BPO Industry for the very first time. I was down in morale because of my first failure here as I couldn't clear the first round and the feedback was given that your English is not up to the mark. I was really surprised and shocked. Somehow, I managed to get into one of the famous BPO organizations and this changed me completely. We had a curriculum of 2 weeks of VNA (Voice & Accent) session. I just made up my mind that this is a do-or-die situation. I will have to improve.

I am thankful to my trainer who helped me a lot and spent extra time on my improvement. She not only helped me she guided me so effectively that I was very happy to see the change in me.

So, I would like to say that don't feel bad if you've failed for the first time. If you'll google you'll get to see many phrases like, "Failure is the key to success", " Try again and again" etc., etc.

The word Fail is very interesting. If you break it down according to me, you'll get the below-mentioned meaning.

F - Fix

A - All

I - Incompetence

L - Levels

What say, Isn't that interesting. The day, we fix all our incompetence levels, success will hold our hand and will take us along.

I was rejected in my first job interview with BPO. I failed. But If I would have given up I would not have been the person who is sharing stories from his life to help you. I would not have been able to reach this level. We all must have heard about Thomas Edison and his failure to the success story. But how many of us have learned from his life story and tried to implement it in our life. I am sure 1 or 2 out of us.

Trust me, Failure is not bad. It's just preparation for you to achieve success in your life. Learn from your failures and fix all incompetence levels, you'll achieve whatever you want.

So, next time whenever someone says that you failed again just give a polite response that It's the preparation for my success.

All the best!

Regards,

Moloy
